The three Bulbasaurs at the beginning of the Cave level are really Dittos. Diglettĭiglett appears on the left side of the Tunnel level, next to a Pikachu. If done correctly, a Cloyster will appear later in the level. Take photographs and throw Pester Balls at the Shellders in the River level. Then the Magmar will run up and blow fire at the Charmander, causing it to evolve into Charmeleon. Throw an apple between the Charmander and the Magmar in the Volcano level. You can get almost ten Charmanders in the same photograph for extra points. Then, throw an apple at both of them and they will roar to call more Charmanders to join them.
Get stuck behind Moltres' egg in the Volcano level and look left to see two Charmanders. It will evolve into a Charizard after being knocked into the lava. Then, throw an apple at the Charmeleon that is near the lava pool. Go to the Volcano level and follow it almost to the end. Throw a Pester Ball at the ball that Eevee is chasing in the Beach level and Chansey will appear. Throw an apple near the log's opening and it will appear. In addition to the two Bulbasaurs in the craters in the River level, there is another hidden in a nearby log.
The Jynxs will perform a ritual dance, and the ice egg will float in the air and hatch into Articuno. Then when you see the Jynxs play the Poké Flute. Go to the Cave level and follow it almost to the end. Get a photograph while it is shaking embers off its body for more points. It appears less frequently then Growlithe. You can have only one of each Pokemon's picture to get the points on, but you can put pictures you like in your album to look at.Throw Pester Balls in the pits across from Charmeleon in the Volcano level. You ride in a vehicle that goes on land, water, and can fly, it goes automatically so you can focus on taking pictures. its the only one there but it's hard to do, though you can just keep coming back. After completing a certain amount, you have to find Pokemon 'signs', there's one in every area, doing so opens up the last level, where you can take pictures of Mew. And to get a couple new areas, you need to open a secret path from another area. To get to these, you need a certain amount of Pokemon pictures taken, as well as opening new areas. You go to different locations to take pictures of Pokemon, to complete an area you need a picture of every Pokemon in that area but you get them all right away, as the game progresses, you get items that help you to lure certain Pokemon out, like the Apple, Smoke Ball, and Pokeflute. So I finally bought myself one, as I did with Starfox 64 and Mario Kart 64.
Read full reviewĪ friend of mine had this game and I really liked playing it. You can only have one person play at a time.
If you get close to t he Pokemon, you can hear them “speak” at times.įrom the colorful artwork to the sound of the camera shutter, this game is very entertaining. There are volcanoes that you will pass, that are overflowing with lava, caves with passages and streams that pass lots of interesting landscape. The graphics are excellent, very colorful with lots of cute detailing. There is no violence in this game (well, I think a few birds tease Meowth and he passes out). Your pictures should be centered, the character facing you and extra points given if they are involved in some funny animation. You receive points on the quality of your pictures. You bring these pictures back to Professor Oak who will critique them. You ride through in a little cart snapping pictures of Pokemon who pop up in a variety of places. The idea of this game is for you to take pictures of the various Pokemon in their natural environments.
